The Green City, the international platform for know-how and communication on the use of plants and trees in a urban environment, has been given a new look and feel. It reflects the revival of the Green City, under the aegis of the iVerde Foundation that unites various Dutch associations of companies in the field of horticulture. The new logo emphasizes the international aspect of the Green City’s ambitions.
The ultimate goal of the Green City is a substantial increase in the awareness of influentials and the general public of the benefits that a green urban environment has to offer for the health, economic efficiency and the general well-being of the people. Our presents the benefits of green elements in cities and villages to an audience of urban planners to professionals, politicians and entrepreneurs. On the website you will find news items and relevant scientific findings regarding the green environment, as well as Green City Foundation’s editorial output.
